Fracture Boots are commonly used for ankle fractures, post surgery of the foot or ankle, and severe ankle or foot sprains / strains. Fracture Boots come in a variety of styles such as the Air Fracture Boots
which have an inflatable air bladder that inflates around the ankle
area to reduce swelling and pain and provide more immobilization at the
same time. AirCast Cam Boots are cam walker fracture boots that give the user a more cast-like feel in addition to having the air bladder. The Air Cast Shell Fracture Boots
have an additional plastic shell that covers the top part of the foot,
ankle, and lower leg area that distributes the pressure from the Velcro
harnesses for a more comfortable fit.
